Getting Started

How does EducateED work?

EducateED helps families find vetted tutors for live online sessions. You create an account, browse available tutors, choose the right fit for your child, and book sessions that work with your schedule.

Who is EducateED for?

EducateED is built for Canadian families with students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, as well as tutors who want to teach in a more structured, curriculum-aligned environment.

Do you only support Canadian students?

The platform is designed around Ontario curriculum expectations for Ontario families who want Canadian-aligned tutoring.

Tutors and Learning

How are tutors vetted?

Tutors are reviewed before they can begin teaching on the platform. The goal is to ensure subject fit, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with students and families online.

What subjects are supported?

EducateED supports core K–12 subjects including mathematics, science, English, French, and more. Subject coverage can expand over time based on demand and tutor availability.

Are sessions one-on-one?

Yes. The current experience is centered on one-on-one live sessions so students get focused support, direct feedback, and a pace that matches their needs.

Do tutors follow the school curriculum?

That is a core part of the platform. EducateED is built to connect families with tutors who understand Canadian curriculum expectations and can support classroom learning rather than work against it.

Booking and Accounts

How do parents or students book a tutor?

After logging in, you can browse tutor profiles, review fit, and book sessions based on availability. The experience is meant to be simple, flexible, and easy to manage from one account.

Can tutors manage their own availability?

Yes. Tutors can maintain their profile, set availability, and manage their upcoming sessions from their account dashboard.

What is the difference between Tutor Login and Parent/Student Login?

Tutor Login is for educators managing teaching availability, lessons, and earnings. Parent/Student Login is for families booking tutors, joining sessions, and tracking learning support.
